Terms of Service
Last updated: July 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of Subi, a Chrome extension for YouTube subtitle translation and word explanations.
Use of Subi
You may use Subi for personal language learning, viewing assistance, and productivity. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, YouTube policies, and third-party content rights.
Accounts and credits
Some features may require an account, subscription, or credits. Credits are used for AI-powered subtitle translation and explanation features. Credits are not cash, have no stored monetary value, are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for money. Credit amounts, pricing, and plan features may change with reasonable notice.
Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor, Creem. Subscription changes, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment issues are handled according to the checkout and billing flow shown at the time of purchase and any applicable payment processor policies.
AI output
Subi uses automated systems to generate translations and explanations. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical use.
Acceptable use
- Do not abuse, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the service.
- Do not use Subi to violate the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, credits, authentication, or security controls.
Availability
We aim to keep Subi reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be updated, limited, or discontinued as the product evolves.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Subi is provided as-is. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
